Connect Ticket Buyers to WordPress Membership, Part 1

Welcome back. Once this summit ends, you will have access to recordings that will be stored on your video storage or host. And you may want to deliver individuals that come after the summit into a more permanent area to watch your recordings. To do that within WordPress, you will need to have a membership or product based plugin.
As an example, in this case, we're going to do a basic setup of Wishlist member. Basically, we're going to create a password protected area on a WordPress site so that individuals with a login and password will be able to watch your recordings. To do that within Wishlist member, we're going to create a membership level. We're going to name the membership level. We're then going to click apply.
We then have our new membership level. Now we're going to disable the registration URL because we're going to have this individual added automatically to this area when they make a Hey Summit purchase. Now that we have the password protection set up, we're going to set up a specific page within our WordPress site. And we now have a page where we can embed our recordings.
What's most important in this case is that we protect the page using our membership plugin which in this case is going to be Wishlist member. And so in our WordPress post, we are going to click protected here in this area, we are going to make sure that the only individuals they'd get access will be those that have access to the specific product that we have set up. We're then going to make it so that the entire page is protected. And basically now anyone that attends this particular page, they'll only be able to see the content if they have access to the Wishlist member product that we have set up. What we're going to do is stop the video here and we're going to pick it up from connecting this WordPress password protected area to our Hey Summit ticketed event.
