Using Hey Summit as an End-to-End Solution

Welcome back. One of the ways you can create access to the live session, as well as the recordings is to use the platform, Hey Summit. And so upon entering Hey Summit, what you'll need to do is to start by determining what kind of summit you are going to be doing. For example, Hey Summit allows you to differentiate between a single event or a series of single events.

So assuming that you were going to do a series of single event, we're going to click on this area and then click continue. We're then going to write in the information that, Hey Summit is asking us about our event. Now we are required here inside of Hey Summit to indicate if we're going to include paid tickets to this event, we're going to say yes, and we're then going to click continue.

Now Hey Summit will provide you with some promotional efforts, but for the sake of this video, we're going to choose private, and we’re then going to click continue. Now, Hey Summit does have an event set up wizard. So for example, what you'll need to do is to come here to the event setup tab, and what you'll notice here is that you have elements that you can customize for your specific event.

Now for specific events inside of Hey Summit, you're going to need to connect specific webinar providers. And you'll see here that Hey Summit connects to specific webinar providers, we're going to connect to zoom. Now in order to connect, Hey Summit to zoom, you are going to need to have the zoom webinar plan.

Now what you'll notice here is that, Hey Summit is going to take over the email process, and so you are going to need to turn off inside of your account Automatic emails that zoom typically sends. We're now going to click, yes, and you'll see a zoom connection to, Hey Summit, we're going to check the disclosure box and we're going to click allow.

And so what you'll notice now is that for this particular speaker, for our event, they're now going to be connected to zoom in order to deliver their presentation. Now by default, Hey Summit does have templates for the emails that your attendees will be receiving. There are templates for the emails that your speaker will be receiving and any team or affiliates that you may have for the event.

You'll see here that your attendees are going to receive specific emails for specific purposes within your event. You'll see here that your speaker will get certain reminder emails in association to their talk within your event. And if you choose to have affiliates for your event, and you're going to operate that affiliate program within Hey Summit, they will receive a set of emails from Hey Summit.

You'll be able to use the platform in order to add individual sessions, and you'll be able to specify what those sessions are going to be for your event. So as you can see, Hey Summit is designed to manage the entire process from end to end for your virtual event.
