Minimum Viable Monetization

Welcome back. Now, there are some elements when it comes to monetization that you're going to want to be aware of. Now platforms such as, Hey Summit, allow you to integrate the minimum elements of monetization, which is to deliver access to the recordings and to allow that access to be sold by both you as well as speakers slash affiliates.
Now, if you choose not to use an end-to-end solution, you are going to need a shopping cart that will give your customer access to a free offer, and then give them the option of paying for the recordings. And you can do that with a shopping cart system like the one that you're looking at here on this page, which is Thrivecart. The customer will then need to have a place where they're going to be able to watch the videos that you are giving them access to for your summit content.
You can use a course platform like Teachable in order to upload your content to and to deliver to your customers. If you're going to use a WordPress platform, you can give password protected access to the content, using a membership plugin such as Wishlist member. And in that case, if you're going to use an affiliate platform, you can integrate a platform such as affiliate WP, which allows you to run your own affiliate program for items that you're going to be selling using your WordPress website.
You can also use an affiliate network in order to allow affiliates to promote your summit with the expectation that individuals are going to upgrade into a product where you are going to provide access to your recordings, you can do the same thing on affiliate networks such as Warrior Plus.
Now, if you're willing to pay for a platform instead of having a per sale fee-based payment, you can use a platform such as Pay kickstart or Zaxaa. So one consideration is going to be how you intend to move someone from access to the free portion of your summit, into paid access to your recordings. And you will either need to create that access using your existing tools or use an end-to-end solution like Hey Summit.
