Rebranding the HeySummit Domain

Welcome back. You can rebrand the entire event domain using Hey Summit. What you're going to do is to go to your event, set up. Once you get inside of the events set up, you're going to see here that you have an event domain. You're going to click update that event domain. What you'll notice here is that you do have a sub domain with the Hey Summit domain.
However, what you may want to do is you may want to add it to your existing domain and to do that, you're going to need to use a C name record from your domain. We are now inside of the domain name registrar Godaddy. Now, depending on where your domain name is listed, this process may be slightly different. But basically what we're going to do is to add a C name record.
We're going to name the C name record. So we're going to write in what we want the sub domain to be. What we're then going to do is to place a value here in this area. And the value is going to be custom.heysummit.com. You are then going to add the record. We're then going to write in our custom domain here in this area, and then we're going to save it.
Once you have your custom domain written in, you're then going to click save, Hey Summit will then show that your domain is going to be active. You should then be able to navigate to your event domain. And once you navigate to the domain, you will then see your Hey Summit page.
